This seemingly straightforward project evolved into a compelling demonstration of UMETASS’s deep-seated expertise and collaborative spirit. From the initial order to the final delivery, our teams navigated a series of intricate challenges with agility and precision, showcasing the synergy between our R&D, Production, Quality Control, Sales, and Procurement departments.

The journey began with a unique hurdle: the client’s requirement for a specific pull-top cap that was incompatible with existing bottle neck dimensions. Instead of compromising the aesthetic harmony of the bottle, our expert R&D team took decisive action. We embarked on the development of an entirely new cap mold. The complex structure of the pull-top demanded meticulous attention to detail. To ensure a leak-proof seal – a critical factor for the intended contents – our engineers engaged in extensive consultations and iterative modifications with the mold manufacturer. Numerous prototypes underwent rigorous testing by our Quality Control department until we achieved a flawless, reliable seal.

Beyond functionality, the tactile experience of the packaging was paramount. Understanding the importance of user comfort and ease of handling, our R&D department meticulously experimented with material blends. We explored various ratios of PE velvet material and conventional HDPE, moving from a 5:5 mix to 6:4, and finally settling on a 7:3 ratio. This iterative process involved multiple rounds of sampling and thorough testing to strike the perfect balance – a bottle that is both easily squeezable and delightfully soft to the touch, without compromising its durability and structural integrity.
